Joining VSU ACM

Who can join VSU ACM?
Any VSU student can join VSU ACM. You don't have to be a CS or CIS major.
We don't care if you major in Math, Art, Chemistry, whatever - if you are
interesting in advancing computing, you are welcome to join!
Why Should I Join VSU ACM?
Our mission is to help advance computing as a science and a profession,
just like the national ACM. If you are interested in computing, we invite
you to join us. Currently, we are a small group, but we have big ideas:
We would like to start hosting programming competitions, speak with
local high & middle schools to get students interested in computing,
have more lectures on computer science, etc. We are also here for
social reasons. You can meet others that share your interests. You can
seek help from upperclassmen. VSU ACM is what the members make it, so
feel free to join and help mold our organization!
How do I Join VSU ACM?
To join VSU ACM, you only need to come to a meeting, talk to one of us,
or speak with Said Fares, our faculty advisor. Annual dues are determined by
a vote, which is held each Fall on the first meeting.
